Digipak Front cover ideas

Below are possible images that we suggested would work well on the front cover of our digipak, we varied the images from one character to suggesting the whole band on the front of the cover. 

We decided this image as one of our final front digipak cover ideas because we felt that it represented a clear image of the thief that is in our music video and therefore has some aspects of brand identity. We did not use this image because it does not include the artists on the image and there perhaps is no clear interpretation for the audience to get and also we felt it would not relate well with our music video.

We chose this image as one of our ideas because we felt it worked well in terms of the two characters in our music video facing one another and reflecting on their actions and consequences. Once again we did not use this image because it did not include all the band members within it which we felt was a important factor to include on the front cover of our digipak.

This image is of one of the band members in our music video with his head dead portraying his loneliness and suffering for the audience to interpret. The character behind him was going to be the rest of the band members but this image was just a rough idea in which to build upon. 

I felt this image worked well with the artist against a plain white wall making him stand out more towards the audience and also to create enigma as to why he is stood there on his own. The reason why he is on his own and not with other band members is because we wanted to emphasise his loneliness and that he is down on his luck in relation to the music video so therefore there is brand identity relating this to the video to some extent.

I felt that his image did not work very well because it does not include all the band members and the characters within this image not as clearly seen as other ideas. This image doesn't stand out as much and I felt the image needed more colour and a easier interpretation for the audience to consume as to why they are facing each other and who these characters are.

I felt this image worked well as to giving a clear understanding to who this character is by the pose and location he is in which is him being a artist in the music video. I felt that this would be a good idea because the characters passion is clearly shown and the audience could interpret this as to his passion to do well and become something in life.
